Massachusetts Base
The Director of Robotics & Automation will drive growth of advanced automation solutions across North America. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in mechatronics, control systems, and robotics engineering, paired with strong consultative sales skills and the ability to engage clients at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development for robotics and automation solutions across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and energy sectors.
- Architect and deliver integrated automation systems, combining robotics, mechatronics, and advanced software.
- Translate client needs into innovative, high-value solutions and proposals.
- Oversee large-scale automation projects and serve on steering committees for key engagements.
- Represent robotics solutions at industry events, analyst briefings, and trade shows.
- Drive thought leadership in automation and emerging technologies (IoT, AI/ML, AR/VR).
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA), and HMI/SCADA.
- Proficiency in ROS, Python/C++, MATLAB, and robotics simulation tools.
- Proven success leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams and managing strategic client relationships.
- Experience designing automation systems for manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, or energy sectors.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in robotics or computer vision systems.
- Strong consultative sales experience and ability to engage at the C-suite level.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $158,000–$206,000 (DOE)
