The Robotics Domain Expert will serve as a technical lead and mentor, advancing the development of robotic subsystems that integrate hardware, software, and algorithms into scalable production-level systems. This position requires a balance of technical depth, leadership, and innovation, with the ability to bridge research concepts into real-world robotic applications.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze industry challenges and create architectural proposals and technical requirements for robotic systems.
Direct design, integration, and evaluation of robotic subsystems in real-world applications.
Optimize algorithms for perception, navigation, control, and manipulation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay ahead of robotics advancements.
Document design processes, specifications, and performance metrics in compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering or related field with 8+ years in industrial automation, including 5+ years in robotics system design.
Expertise in sensor technologies (Camera, LiDAR, IMU) and AI-driven algorithms.
End-to-end experience designing and scaling robotic systems to production level.
Proven history of innovation and leadership with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with robotic simulation tools and CAD software.
Bonus Skills
Mechanical engineering background.
Programming skills in Python, C++, ROS.
Published research or patents in robotics.
Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $148,500 - $222,800 (DOE).
