The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing operations, safety, and performance across multiple mission-critical campuses. This role provides leadership to site-level teams, ensuring standardized procedures, operational excellence, and compliance while aligning with long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct leadership to site Facilities Managers across assigned campuses.
Ensure consistent use of SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs across facilities.
Act as the primary escalation point for incidents, emergencies, and operational decisions.
Maintain 99.999% uptime through preventive maintenance and risk mitigation.
Oversee audits, inspections, and compliance reviews to meet federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage capital projects, upgrades, and sustainability initiatives.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management for the region.
Partner with safety leaders to deliver ongoing training and emergency readiness.
Serve as a regional contact for customer escalations and provide reports to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
10+ years in mission-critical facilities management, with at least 5 years in regional/multi-site leadership.
Strong technical knowledge of UPS, generators, HVAC, power distribution, and BMS/EPMS systems.
Proven experience leading diverse teams across multiple sites.
Expertise in infrastructure upgrades, project management, and construction oversight.
Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and vendor contract management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with executive-level influence.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
OSHA 30 certification required; CSP, PMP, or NFPA 70E preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $125,000 - $145,000 (DOE).
