The Humanoid Robot Deployment Engineer serves as a customer-facing technical lead, ensuring successful deployment and performance of humanoid robotic systems across multiple use cases, including residential environments. This role requires a unique mix of engineering expertise, field deployment skills, and customer success experience to ensure both product reliability and positive client outcomes, making it essential for effective leadership recruitment and talent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Lead robot deployment, commissioning, and testing at customer sites.
Develop and execute testing plans aligned with product roadmaps.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing direct feedback to engineering.
Create and update SOPs based on field learnings.
Manage on-site logistics, ensuring operators and technicians have proper tools and resources.
Serve as the site lead, ensuring smooth execution and communication.
Provide continuous customer support to ensure system performance and reliability.
Required Qualifications
3 - 5+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or automotive integration and deployment.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
Strong hands-on skills with electro-mechanical systems.
Proven ability to perform in high-pressure, real-world deployment environments.
Experience managing stakeholders and customer success initiatives, crucial for driving effective talent acquisition.
Background in transitioning products from design to commercialization.
Familiarity with project management tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.).
Willingness to travel up to 75%.
Bonus Skills
Linux, Python, or other coding languages.
Software validation and debugging experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $125,000 - $185,000 (DOE).
